The ocean holds a mesmerising fascination for me. I am drawn to it and feel vitally enlivened and humbled when I am around it. It is the thunderous boom of an explosive impact, the soft sweep of a receding draw. The salty iodine tang in the air, and the vast, open skies. Whether it's the raw energy in a winter tempest, the beauty in a sparkling wave crest, or the reflections in a heaving swell, I love to stand on a windswept tideline, trying to capture the energy and drama in my long lenses.
